Barbara is first and foremost a fantastic host: very welcoming, flexible and caring! The castle is in a wonderful location, with beautiful views, easy access, and an atmosphere that makes you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time.The property is ideal for groups with children, thanks to the separate sleeping quarters. With a good baby monitor, you can keep an eye on all the bedrooms! The kitchen is certainly not as small as we had expected based on other reviews, and it is very well equipped. The living room is tastefully furnished and spacious. A big compliment for how clean everything is! And with four bathrooms, it’s a real luxury when staying here with several families.Outside, you can enjoy a lovely fire and spend quality time together. The playground and the surrounding grounds, complete with animals, make the experience even more special. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience in the charming event room at Nieuwenhoven Castle! We enjoyed breakfast and aperitifs in a truly cosy and welcoming setting. The location is absolutely beautiful, nestled in the greenery, with peaceful views of the surrounding nature and pond. You immediately feel a sense of tranquillity as soon as you arrive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, atmospheric venue in a truly unique setting!

We had such a wonderfull day at Nieuwenhoven Castle We came with our family for brunch and a walk through the beautiful woodlands surrounding the castle, but it turned out to be so much more than just a lovely day out. From the very first moment, you can feel that this place is run with genuine passion and dedication. The brunch was delicious, the surroundings wonderfully peaceful, and during our walk, the lord of the manor took us on a journey through the estate's history and stories. His explanations were fascinating, delivered with great knowledge and an obvious love for this special place. The lady of the house radiates warmth and hospitality too. Always busy, always around, yet never without a smile. You don't feel like just another guest here; you genuinely feel welcome. What makes it even more special is that the children are also part of the experience. Thoughtful, friendly and involved, they add a sincere and personal touch that makes this place feel all the more authentic. Nieuwenhoven Castle is not the kind of traditional venue where everything feels perfectly polished. And that is precisely what makes it so charming. It has a soul, an authenticity and a warmth that are rarely found nowadays. A place to slow down, enjoy the moment and completely unwind. We will be more than happy to return!

We had a lovely brunch at Nieuwenhoven Castle yesterday. What a great experience! The location itself is a real highlight: the castle is nestled in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, surrounded by greenery. The views of nature and the pond are truly breathtaking and immediately create a relaxing atmosphere. The event room itself is charming and full of character, making it the perfect setting for a cosy gathering.Thanks to the peaceful surroundings and beautiful views, you really feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of everyday life. An ideal venue for breakfast, aperitifs, brunch or a small-scale event!
